Graduate students are invited to submit proposals for a research methodology panel, which will be part of the 2^ndAnnual All-University Graduate Research Symposium, scheduled for March 20-21, 2015. Proposals are accepted for:

• A three person panel at which each participant speaks briefly (10-15 minutes) about the “nuts and bolts” of his/her research and methodology (qualitative or quantitative), or data management strategy, and responds to questions; total panel time is about 75 minutes.
• Example panel topics include interviewing; mixed methods; text mining; survey methods; experimental design; or other methods
• Presentations about research in progress or recently-presented works are very welcome.

Our goal is to provide a forum for exchange of information about research practices.  Students will be invited to submit their presentations to Syracuse University Libraries’ institutional database, SURFACE. Please submit proposals to Bonnie Ryan, bcryan@syr.edu, no later than February 15, 2015.  Proposals should include:

Graduate students from a variety of SU Schools and Colleges are invited to submit proposals for roundtable discussions about a particular research method or software. This roundtable will be part of the 2^ndAnnual All-University Graduate Research Symposium, scheduled for March 20-21, 2015. We are seeking proposals for roundtable discussions on:

• specific software, such as ATLAS.ti; NVivo; Qualtrics; R; SAS; SPSS
• specific research methodologies, such as interviewing, text mining, etc.

Roundtable discussion(s) will provide an opportunity for experiences with a particular software or method to be shared. Discussion related to work in progress is welcome. Total time: 30 minutes minimum; 75 minutes maximum.
